What shows are you watching?

What are you watching?

Let’s leave ideas for what to watch both for fun/personal AND for business.

So, for me,

  • We just started watching “Silicon Valley” it’s now on Hulu. It’s really entertaining and also really interesting as a business owner as especially in the first few episodes there is a lot of talk about how hard it is to set up a business.

  • I started to watch Tiger King, but it was a bit much. I don’t know if I’ll finish it. I think I’m most of the way through episode 2.

  • I finished watching “Kim’s Convenience” on Netflix a bit ago. I highly recommend! It’s a great show and is an easy watch. It’s a fairly PG show which I appreciate as I need a break sometimes from all the other stuff.

  • “Helvetica” is a great documentary about the font. Not sure if it’s still on Netflix, as I watched it a few years ago, but I suggest trying to find it.

I haven’t heard of any of these @BethanySmith aside from Tiger King, which I’m sad to say I have watched in its entirety. My husband and I sat through every bitter moment and looked at each other like WTF about 90 million times.

We also watched the Unibomber documentary. Creepy.

We started watching The Witcher but OMG the nudity! It felt borderline porn-ish at times, so we’re “on hold” with that.

We’ve watched all of the crossfit documentaries. They make me feel really lazy, ha!

Ozark is great, I’m all caught up on Grey’s Anatomy and I’m sure there are a few others I’m forgetting!

Great thread! I’ll revisit this one for ideas in the coming weeks!

I haven’t heard of many of these either lol - I tried Tiger King but didn’t care for it. LOVE Ozark - can’t wait for the next season already. Just watched Justine - a Netflix movie - it was good. I’d love a good thriller series, like another season of Bloodline.

Bernie! Bloodline was INCREDIBLE, wasn’t it? I loved that series sooo much.

Some great suggestions! Ever since I had kids I’ve had a hard time watching any shows that have violence or scary plots. haha, it’s basically Disney Channel for me now. I used to watch basically anything and everything so it was quite a change. Although, now that my youngest is turning 3, I do feel like I can handle a bit more of that stuff.

I wonder how this whole pandemic situation will change the television options? Will we see happier shows cause everyone wants that in life, or will we see gloomier stuff cause everyone is all depressed? Hmmm. I think we were trending towards some lighter shows lately, so we will have to see!

I know I’ve been avoiding depressing shows. We are constantly on the lookout for movies and shows that are set in beautiful, beachy places!

I watched All American, Ozark, and a bunch of the food/traveling foodie shows on Netflix.
