Each Monday in this post you can list out the goals or tasks you want to accomplish during the week, then on Friday we’ll check in to see how we all did.
The hope is that by holding each other accountable we can be more productive and continue to effectively grow together!
I will post mine in a subsequent comment and I encourage everyone to do the same!
I’m keeping positive on the headway here given I’m on a work trip for my full time ed consulting job but I’m working to accomplish the following by end of this week:
Website work: Clean up category and pages to match names by EOW
Website work: add category tags to each post so they now populate on each category on website by EOW
Website Work: clean up 5 more original posts formatting for SEO and recipe cards by EOW
Email Marketing: Draft one month’s worth of newsletters to schedule send by EOW
Content Creation: Write and post 2 new recipe posts by EOW
Content Creation: Create 5 Pinterest idea Pins, 2 Google Web Stories, and 3 IG posts by EOW
Here are mine: 2 weekly emails to list new podcast episode & show notes schedule daily FB posts 1 new post Set up an email spotlight subscribe Edit my pop up 2 EBT productivity sessions
I did not get my last two tasks done, but they were big stretches so I’m not stressing over it.
Sending the new pitch - I think I’m having imposter syndrome. I notice I’ve been putting it off the last couple of weeks.
Attending the productivity hour on Thursday ( conflicted with work meeting) however I did dedicate a hour before work to complete what I would have worked on during that time, so I still had focus time.
@Kristina - I had a hard time with pitches too when I was doing sponsored work. One thing that helped me was setting a goal for how many No’s I could get. I know it sounds odd, but it really worked! It helped take the sting out of the no’s and if you get enough no’s you’re bound to get a yes in there somewhere. You can do it!
I got to do more than i planned because instead of recipes i did more articles! I was inspired by the episode with Eating Works from Megan’s podcast and was able to get done more when focusing on writing instead of recipes as they tend to take so much more time.
