The hope is that by holding each other accountable we can be more productive and continue to effectively grow together!

This week’s focus:
it up and start on a fresh site. (The current site has a DA: 4, but LOTS of Newbie issues, including no recipe card) *Suggestions/Opinions Welcome@Keira I think you should try moving your site to wp.org. I’m sure there are tons of tutorials on how to do so and that way you’re not completely starting from scratch. And if you do decide it’s too hard, you’ll have at least tried and can then move on to doing it from scratch.
I agree with Taryn. I would see if you can transfer to WP.org, but I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it. If it seems too challenging then just copy/paste all your content to a fresh site.
Thank you for your feedback. To give more context, I should have mentioned that I went on a content purge about 6 months ago and would only be transfering only a handfull of posts. So I’m not terribly concerned about transferring the existing content. Wp.com was ok when my blog was just a stress releiving hobby. I think that fixing the url structure, the 404,etc errors and adding a recipe card plugin and a mobil optimized theme might just scratch the surface of my sites issues. I’m trying to figure out how to best use my available free time to move the needle forward as well as to create a site up and running that I enjoy working on. My mistakes are what they are, just great learning oppertunities. -k

I made some progress and got off the fence.
Review & Update Policies (Privacy, GDPR, CCPA, Comment) *posted on Old Site & will be updated for the new site
Create 1 new piece of content (post) * for the new site
Decided to pull the plug on the old WP.com site and put efforts into making new content for a new blog to be launched in 2024. Fresh starts for a new year.

I got all but one of my podcast episodes done, but am working on that this weekend. And looking forward to a quieter week this week!
