Each Monday in this post you can list out the goals or tasks you want to accomplish during the week, then on Friday we’ll check in to see how we all did.
The hope is that by holding each other accountable we can be more productive and continue to effectively grow together!
I will post mine in a subsequent comment and I encourage everyone to do the same!
All of the photos are already taken for all of this, so it’s a matter of sitting down and writing them.
Continue to reach out to brands to try get an get something sponsors (blog posts, emails, podcast). I haven’t nailed down my goal for that exactly this week. I have got my content plan very well down.
Goals this week:
Attend 2 EBT productivity hour ( I attended todays )
Write 2 new blog posts
Update 1 old blog post
3-4 web stories
follow up with pitches and send out new ones
work on my content calendar for September & brainstorm recipes
I met my goals: Reorganize my 9-5, so that I can attend this week’s Clubhouse Session (GREAT SESSION) Schedule a weekly time block for Admin/CEO Time Stretch Goal - Conduct a Content Audit of existing content.
I just finished up writing my 7 new blog posts this week and updating 15 blog posts. I wasn’t able to reach out to brands this week.
I want to say this as an encouragement to others. I was able to finish all those posts despite struggling a lot this week with depression. If that is something you have problems with from time to time, or you have anxiety, or ADHD, I just want to say that it’s possible to work through those challenges and meet your goals regardless. It sure wasn’t easy this week and I worked later in the night than I wanted to.
@eatlikenooneelse I have been dreading updating old content. Still struggling with if it is worth it, or if I should just create a new site and start from scratch (my current site is a hobby blog). Your progress is fantastic and it encourages me to stick with it.
well…
update 1 blog post → updated 3 older blog posts
3 Social Media Posts → 1 Social Media Post and 5 stories
finally, attend an EBT productivity hour → missed this
The great thing about updating old content is when it’s a great feeling and boost of confidence when you turn “trash into treasure”. I have had posts that weren’t doing a whole lot that I updated and now end up as top posts. Pretty much every post in my top 20-30 posts has been updated. Updating old content doesn’t take as long as writing a post from scratch.
