Weekly Goal Setting 2/27/23

Each Monday there’s a post where people can list out the goals or tasks they want to accomplish during the week, then on Friday we’ll check in to see how we all did.

The hope is that by holding each other accountable we can be more productive and continue to effectively grow together!

I will post mine in a subsequent comment and I encourage others to do the same!

I’ve got a trip coming up from Saturday to Tuesday (not Tastemaker) so am trying to front load some items this week.

  • publish 1 podcast episode
  • schedule 1 podcast episode for the following week
  • upload all podcast audio to posts and cross-link
  • schedule FB posts for 2 weeks out
  • weekly email to list
  • update 2 posts
  • Schedule pins for the next 2 weeks

My goals for the week are slim, due to Tastemaker! Here are mine:

  • Catch up on IG reels
  • Publish 2 new PE posts (this is ambitious)
  • Update 2 existing PE posts
  • 3 mastermind calls
  • Prep for and experience TC!

K I’m going to try to get a lot done this week! I’m feeling super motivated and I’m going to try to ride the wave as long as I can.

  • Edit photos and reel
  • Publish three posts (that would be a record for me for one week!)
  • Keyword research for next recipe
    -Edit some pins in canva and publish

@megan , are you so excited for TC?! Can’t wait to hear about it

That’s still quite a bit @megan! Some stretch goals for sure.

I already left for Tastemaker on Monday afternoon (I am taking a train up from New Orleans). All my goals are for Tastemaker which includes connecting with bloggers and brands and promoting my podcast. I have extra time on Wednesday, I may work on draft of new blog posts, but no pressure to finish anything.

Here are mine for the week!

  1. Create 2 web stories
  2. Edit pictures, create pins, and write a blog post.
  3. Work on creating a Freebie
  4. Send weekly email to my list
  5. Retake pictures and update a blog post. Create new pins for the post.

It’s Friday, so let’s check in on our goals!

I got most things done: all of my podcast tasks, my FB posts, and my weekly email to my list. I even got in a second email this week and another one scheduled for next week, which was a bonus.

I didn’t get to update any posts, and I’m still working on scheduling things out for Pinterest. That’s what I’ll be working on today (and possibly on my flight tomorrow).

Ok so I’ve published two posts so far, going to go for the third on Sunday! The only thing I need to do still is the Canva/Pinterest stuff. Doing two bakes tomorrow, so I’m going to need to go to bed soon LOL. Overall happy with my productivity this week though!

I finished most of my goals except two. I was able to do one web story, not two. The weather is not cooperating with me to take my hero shots of the blog post I am updating. Hopefully, there will be a break in the clouds this weekend so I can take the pictures. It was a pretty good week.

@RebelSpatula and @gittaskitchen - sounds like productive weeks for both of you!

All I did this past week was go to Tastemaker. I passed out many of my business cards, got some email addresses to reach out to brands, and have 16 bloggers interested doing a cameo on my podcast. A cameo is a 60-90 second clip they send me sharing a recipe that relates to the episode I am doing.
