It’s been a couple of week since we’ve done one of these, so let’s get back to it!
1 - Share a win! This is about celebrating ourselves and each other. Share something you accomplished over the last week, either personal or blogging-related.
2 - Share a resource! Is there something you discovered recently that you found helpful? Maybe an article, a webinar, a course, or someone to follow on social media. It could be anything!
Feel free to do one or both!
I’ll put mine below, and I encourage others to jump in as well.
My win is that despite summer throwing a wrench into my typical schedule, I’ve still managed to post consistently every week on my site.
My resource is a blog post that was shared via a Food Blogger Pro email that we discussed on Clubhouse recently. It’s from Ahrefs and it goes revamping your posts for better SEO. It has an interesting chart about the tasks involved and Ahrefs ranks them in terms of impact, confidence, and ease. Definitely worth checking out!
Nice @taryn! Consistency is something I am trying to work on. I am definitely going to be checking out this article!
I don’t have a resource to share, but I do have a win that is a couple of weeks old:
I served on the planning committee and cooked part of the meal for the annual fundraising gala for Cook for a Cause, a non profit that manages the school farms that feed the students as well as teaching them cooking skills in a school district near where I live. This actually fits well in my niche (eating fresh local food), so it will be a nice EAT builder. As a result, I have a couple of local farms and food producers wanting to collaborate!
That’s so amazing @thecoppertable - what a wonderful organization to volunteer with! I love their mission.
thank you @taryn! I plan on doing it each year from now on, it was a lot of fun!
I want to share a win ;D a few weeks ago i made my first freebie, and it is totally working! lots of new email subscribers every week, so nice!
can’t think of a resource right now
That is awesome @Angelika! Love when things hit on the mark like that.
