I know that we want the UX to be the ultimate goal in writing a post but I’ve found that a lot of words can be written to achieve that. Sometimes I wonder if 1000-1500 words even with great content is really helpful because it’s filled with a page that’s difficult to navigate at times with all the pictures/ads/videos. How do we make sure that UX is still at the forefront of our mind with this balance of other important factors included? More pictures with directions included? More H2 headings? I’m curious what other people are finding. As a user myself, especially on the mobile, it’s hard to get the videos and pop ups to not frustrate me as I try to verify a recipe ingredient or instruction because I’ve already selected the recipe and read it once.
