Hi everyone!! I’m JJ, and I started blogging at the beginning of this year. I’m an artist who loves to make whole-food, plant-based recipes and created my “artist lifestyle” blog to include DIY, eclectic decor, and herb gardening, but I can see it’s beginning to morph into a “cooking healthy WFPB recipes for one” blog instead. Eat, Blog and Connect is one of my favorite podcasts, and I’m having so much fun learning more about this blogging biz. In 2022 I will be narrowing and redesigning my site again, and I look forward to learning more about you all and what you do.
My fun fact is all of my pets have been named after artists! Currently residing with me is Jackson Pollack, my 13-year-old furry terrier mix pup.
And JJ is short for Judy Jean Justine Jacobs, born in June
Here’s my blog
Welcome JJ! Nice to see another plant-based blogger here.
Hey there!!! so excited to have you here, and so excited to learn more about your blog in this forum! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us.
Thank you, Amy - and I love your blog! Your recipe for lemon artichoke pasta looks incredible…I can’t wait to make it!
Thank you, Dani - I’m excited to be here!
Welcome @JJ_Jacobs and I love all of the fun info you shared!
Thank you, Megan - I’m glad to be here!
After the artist Banksy, I named my parrot “Rat”. Your new parrot friend would be a great addition to your family and provide hours of enjoyment. They are known for their playful nature and love of toys which i chose from Bird Toys - Swings, Bells, Ladders & Other Bird Toys - Planet Pet . As an animal companion, parrots are hard to beat. So why not name your parrot after one of the most famous artists in the world?
Welcome! I love how you completly changed careers, are working with minimal stuff and eating like a queen still. That’s great!
I’m glad you’re finding inspiration from the podcast. There’s a great community here to tap into and get questions answered and cheer others on too!
